Covid-19 Appointment procedures
Please arrive on time for your appointment
Multiple artists are working and have appointments running at the same time, so start times for appointments are strategically staggered to keep the lobby clear from traffic.
This also means that we ask that you refrain from showing up too early for your appointment as well.
If you’re running late, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until there is space available in the lobby for you to come inside, or rescheduled altogether.
We will be operating on an appointment-only basis and our inside door will be locked when you arrive
Ring the doorbell when you arrive and a staff member will assist you.
Please be patient as we are currently operating without front desk staff.
No one without an appointment will be allowed to enter the premises. That means no guests for the time being.
Clients must provide proof of vaccination and meet screening criteria for COVID-19 symptoms to enter the premises.
Please consider this in advance of your appointment and reschedule if you are feeling unwell and give as much notice as possible.
If you are rescheduling for presumptive COVID-related symptoms, you will not be able to be booked in again within two weeks of experiencing these symptoms.
Effective October 22nd 2021, the Provincial Government requires all personal service establishments to check clients and guests for proof of vaccination. Proof may be provided by using the NLVaxPass App, or via a printed version of your QR code. You will be required to provide your photo ID at the door to ensure your name matches that of your proof of vaccination.
Clients from out of province without a Newfoundland and Labrador MCP card must provide your vaccination record from your home province.
Bring your own medical or non-medical mask. Face shields or neck gaiters alone are not considered adequate protection.
Make sure your mask fits correctly and does not slip down below your nose or have gaps on the side or bottom.
If your mask doesn't fit or is not considered adequate protection, we will provide a medical mask and instructions on how to adjust the fit.
If you remove or pull down your mask you will be asked once to put it back on. If you remove it again you'll be asked to leave.
Please confirm your design in advance of your appointment.
Minor changes may be able to be made the day of the appointment, but if you arrive and want significant changes that will end up running into other clients’ appointment times, you may be rescheduled with the loss of your deposit.
Clients must sanitize their hands when they enter and when they leave the shop and practice proper hygiene at all times
Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the shop.
Outside food and drink are not permitted at this time
Please make sure to eat and stay hydrated ahead of your appointment.
Bottled water is permitted if it’s in a non-reusable container.
You may also choose to take a break to eat outside or in your vehicle where your mask can be safely removed.
